On August 30, 1951, Greensboro ABC opened its doors for the first time. Seventy-five years later, we’re proud to continue serving the community with the same commitment to responsible retailing, excellent customer service, and giving back to Greensboro.
Growing With Greensboro
As Greensboro has grown over the past 75 years, so has Greensboro ABC. What began as a local ABC Board has grown into a network of 17 stores serving customers across the city.
Today, customers can browse spirits, check store inventory, place orders for convenient in-store pickup, and discover cocktail recipes online. While the way people shop has changed, our commitment to serving Greensboro has remained the same.
Every Bottle Gives Back
For 75 years, Greensboro ABC has supported the local community. Unlike private liquor retailers in many states, Greensboro ABC returns a portion of its profits to benefit the communities it serves. Since 1952, Greensboro ABC has also awarded grants that support organizations working to prevent alcohol misuse and improve the health and well-being of our community.
